Tbd. is a new dance cooperative that gave its debut public performance in June at the Pet Shop Gallery, an alternative exhibit/performance space in Omaha’s hipstery Benson district. The performance area was very small — I’d guess about 16 feet square — and the audience stood along the walls as the dancers worked through a series of improvisational sequences.

Waiting in the street before Tbd.’s debut performance, Kyan is excited to be dancing again. She had taken time off from performing to make way for marriage and motherhood, but kept up with classes and was recruited back to join Tbd.
Waiting for their turn to perform. Everyone fits warmup routines into the tiny first-floor gallery space.
Upstairs and into the main space… time to begin.
